Z-series tension clamp terminal blocks with a cross-section between 0.13 and 35 mm2 enable optimized and application proof solutions.

 

Terminals with tension clamp technology, the Z sereis, are made to suit a wide range of customer applications. They are:

• small structural dimensions

• large marking surface

• integrated test point

• cross-connestion ability within the Z series and to other Weidmüller families

 

The terminals in the Z series have a wide clamping range and up to two cross-connection channels.

 

The potential can be distributed across any number of channels using the pluggable cross-connections system.

 

The connection

In accordance with Weidmüller´s contact principle, the tension clamp system also seperates, electrical and mechanical functions.

• Steel tension clamp provides optimum contact force

• Copper busbars for low-voltage loss

 

Pluggable cross-connections

• 2- to 10-pole or "continous" for individual assembly

• Full rated current

• Poles can be broken out in order to bypass terminals

 

Simple to use

Practical connection with parallel conductor inset and screwdriver actuation:

• TOP connection technology

• No special tools needed

• Integrated test point

 

 

 

 

Wemid insulation

• Resistant to creepage CTI 600

• Temperature range up to 120 °C

• Flammability class VO acc. to UL94

• Contains no halogen or phosphorous
