STB 4X Range

Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Industrial Enclosure

The STB 4X range is an “UL certified” enclosure solution available in various options of materials and finishes and is fully compliant with impact resistance, thermal and ingress requirements of EN50014, and is available in a comprehensive range of 12 different sizes suitable for a wide range of applications, both electrical and mechanical.

Unlike many industrial enclosures the Cooper Crouse-Hinds STB is UL 4X certified that provides optimum environmental performance and protection. The STB 4X has undergone ingress protection testing to EN50529 and has a certified ingress protection of IP66.

This ensures that ingress protection is maintained with impact resistance up to 7nm and within the minimum and maximum stated operating temperature.

This means that the ingress protection rating of IP66 will be maintained in the event of an impact on the enclosure of up to 7nm, additionally the ingress protection will be maintained through the entire operational temperature range specified.

Gasket Material	STB 121208 – 252512 High integrity “one piece” solid chloroprene rubber. STB 163812 – 604022 High integrity “one piece” closed cell chloroprene sponge.
Lid Fixing	4 x M6 slotted hex head captive screws.
Enclosure Mounting	STB 121208 - 252512 = 2 x external welded lugs x 8mm Ø holes. STB 163812 - 254013 = 4 x external welded lugs x 8mm Ø holes. STB 383822 - 604022 = 4 x external welded lugs x 11mm Ø holes.
Equipment Mountings	STB 121208 – 254013 internally welded TAS 20 rail for terminal mounting. STB 383822 – 604022 = 4 x stand off pillars 9mm Ø, 25mm high, tapped, M10.
Gland Plates	Optional gland plates for STB 383822 & 604022.
Enclosure Earthing	M6 internal / external earth stud assembly.
