Adaptor EExe, Male x Female, Hex Type AB

Raxton EExe Adaptors provide a means of connection between dissimilar thread forms and sizes.

The female thread of an adaptor should be no more than one size larger than the male thread or the equivalent of one size in the case of dissimilar threads. E.g. M20(M) to M25(F) and M20(M) to 3/4`NPT(F) is acceptable, whereas M20(M) to M32(F) or M20(M) to 1`NPT is not permitted.

Metallic adaptors are supplied with a hexagonal body as standard. However, where fitting space is limited, adaptors can be supplied with a round body. The diameters will be equal to the across flats dimensions of the standard hexagonal body.

EExe Adaptors are fitted with an ‘O’ ring to maintain the IP integrity of the installation. These products are independently tested to IP68.

In line with the basic rules of good engineering practice, no more than one adaptor should be used at one time on any given cable entry.

Raxton EExe Adaptors are marked with the applicable approval number and size.
