Hexagonal Thread Adaptor EExd, Female x Female, Type AU

Raxton Female to Female Adaptors provide a means of connection between two male threads of similar or dissimilar thread forms and/or sizes.

The thread combination of the adaptor shall not step up more than one size, or the equivalent of one size in the case of dissimilar threads, when the smaller thread is connected to the enclosure.E.g. M20(F) x M25(F) or M20(F) to ¾”NPT(F) is allowed whereas M20(F) to M32(F) or M20(F) to 1”NPT(F) is not permitted.

However, when the larger thread size or type of the adaptor is connected to the enclosure the one step rule is not applicable. This enables the entry diameter of the enclosure to be reduced to accept a smaller fitting.

Raxton Female to Female Adaptors are marked with the appropriate approval number and size.
