Hawke HBP Type Transformer Breather. Cable Systems supply Cable Glands and other electrical products including Hawke EExe certified junction boxes to suit the customers requirements whilst still retaining certification. This is endorsed and backed by Hawke Cable Glands Limited, which offers customers a fast lane service for this product. This service is also available on industrial enclosures. In doing this, we have had to obtain certification by the Electrical Equipment Certification Service (EECS) for the Stockist Assembler Scheme. This was attained in 1994 and allows ourselves to issue our own Licence with the BASEEFA certificate.

The HBP Desiccant Breather has been specially designed to provide an economical protection device for smaller Transformers having a low oil content. The Breather body and oil seal cup are moulded in high strength polycarbonate, which offers mechanical strength and weather resistance, the transparent material also allows all round visability of the Desiccant at a distance.

The design of the HBP Desiccant Breather allows the capacity to be increased for use on larger Transformers. This is known as the HBP/2.
