About Cable Systems

Cable Systems was formed in 1982 by Ron Rigby. He had been in the electrical industry for many years and was able to offer sound technical advice on all of the company’s products. After a period of growth the company was taken over by his son, Jonathan Rigby, in 1992.

Initially the company dealt primarily with the stocking of industrial products but now the stock profile has grown to include mainly hazardous area products.

Geographically, the company is ideally situated being within one mile of the M62 and M6 motorways, thus enabling the company to compliment its stock profile with a first class delivery service which is required and demanded by the electrical trade. The company’s personnel have been in the electrical industry for many years and are able to offer sound technical advice on the products we stock.

The nature of Cable Systems’ products and customers meant that to ensure continued successful development it would be necessary to obtain third party recognition of the company’s Quality Management Systems which it did in January 1991.

And today the growth and progress continues putting Cable Systems at the forefront as a key supplier to the industrial and hazardous industry.
